look: amber coloured beer, more or less see clear, lots of bubbles racing up the beer, nice two finger head with good bit of lacing and decent retention.
smell: hoppy and really fruity, orange, lemon, papaya, mango, pineapple, grapefruit, smells bitter but not too bitter, a little biscuity malt coming through but not much, however beer smells lovely.
taste: quite sweet at first, then some malty flavours , this subsides to all those aforementioned fruit flavours, however orange and pineapple dominate, some orange peel and grapefruit flavours too, grapefruity mild bitter finish, not really as flavoursome as the nose led me to believe but still not bad.
feel: light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, oily, some warming of the back of the throat, although it’s light body makes it rather sessionable, although perhaps it’s a bit too strong for that.
overall: this is the second beer i’ve had now from eight degrees, the first being citra, and unfortunately this is not as good, but it’s still quite pleasant.

Pours clear, light gold in color with minimal head. Taste is tangerine, grapefruit, lime, and orange. Bitter, light bodied and carbonation. Like a NEIPA with a more bitter backbone. Tasty and refreshing. Will get this again.

A 330ml bottle with a BB of June 2018. Acquired a little while back from a webshop. The label describes it as a single malt IPA brewed with Irish malt.
A: Poured into an IPA glass. Bottle conditioned. A hazy orange-amber colour with plentiful carbonation and some floating sediment. Yields a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a patchy surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of intensely fruity hops with hints of clementine, citrus zest, peel, tropical fruit, melon, caramel malt, ale yeast and a twinge of oxidation. Rather nice.
T: Tastes of fruity aromatic hops with notes of zesty citrus, peel, tropical fruit, melon, caramel malt, ale yeast, stewed hops and mild oxidation. Slightly sweet, followed by a robust hoppy bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with lively carbonation and good body. Mildly astringent; hop oils stimulate the palate. Aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, citrus, tropical fruit, light resin, caramel malt and ale yeast.
O: Not bad at all - a satisfyingly hoppy IPA with good balance. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are stuffed with hoppy bitterness, citrus, tropical fruit, caramel malt and yeast. Nice body. Goes down a treat; worth sampling if you come across it.

330ml bottle from Good Spirits Co. Wine & Beer (£3.00):
Quite a nice offering from Eight Degrees, this one was definitely one of the better Irish beers I've had of late but still wasn't a standout or a classic really. It opened a lot more malty than I'd expected with the hops taking more of a backseat & an earthy bitterness coming to the fore. There was a freshness about the drink though & it was quite easy to drink with some subtle tropical fruits & citrus coming through around the middle. The taste could perhaps have been a little stronger but it was definitely a nice beer & one well worth trying if you get the chance.

Very nice west coast style IPA. The beer it reminds the most of it's two hearted ale with abig floral presence and some grapefruit. Nicely carbonated. Nice beer, I can't find any big flaws in this one.

330 ml bottle enjoyed in Offaly Ireland. Was waiting ages to try this. Strangely difficult to source despite its high reputation. A great IPA.

Pours pale amber with a small fading head.
Nose shows pine, grapefruit, honey and sweet clean malt.
Flavorus include more sweet clean malt as well as piny and resinous hops. Some herbal notes too, followed by an assertive bitterness.

Bottle 330ml. Best before 20/2/16 drank on 7/8/15. Aroma is fantastic aroma of hops. Looks amber, orange. Taste is perfect mix of mango, hop, citrus, malt and lychee. Body is very good with somewhat an oily nature that hides the 6% alcohol almost too well. This is one unbelievable beer. Like a Punk IPA except much better and capable of rivaling any of the American IPAs. Will make this my staple if I can get it.
