500ml bottle from Tesco supermarket, Limerick (€3.50):
Translucent golden with a 1cm, foamy white head, bubbles on the sides & not bad retention. Fruity tropical notes & citrus on the nose, slightly sweet wirh peach & some bitter hops. Sweet tropical fruits, some peach & apricot with citrus & pine too. Good carbonation with a slightly dry finish too.

Rusty orange with clingy cap of sandstone foam. 4
Flowers, leaf, and soap on the nose - a bit underwhelming. 3.75
Sweet pastry up front then tangerine, pine resin, papaya, and nectar hops. 4
Spicy cookie ending and aspirin linger.
Almost medium, salty, oily, some cling + heat. 4
Nelson Sauvin, Simcoe, Vic Secret and Ella
-- Surprising light and fragrant for the strength; the aroma’s a bit delicate for an ABV that doesn’t scorch but isn’t silent either. Titular malts actually play a big role in delivering lots of doughy sweetness, if not body - not a BD Hardcore lean-and-mean DIPA. Almost like a simple turning up of the volume on Full Irish (though this is an almost all-S Hemi hop bill where Full Irish was American) where maybe in truth the hop proporation need to bump up to scale correctly and deliver the lupulin
.
I had high hopes, but this is missing the magic somehow. 4
