Eight Degrees Horn8’s Nest
On draft at Norseman, Dublin.
*from notes
Puffy white head over pale gold with steady stream of bubbles. 4
Booming lychee, cut grass, and grapefruit rind nose. 4.25
Cracker, a whack of rubbery yeast, an herbal hit, then musty lemon and unripe melon with some spicy white grape. 4.25
Pith finish and numbing linger.
Dry, crisp, fizzy, light, salty. 4
-- Hops on parade but the yeasty notes are there; Belgian and IPA in equal measure. With no crystal to hide behind, the hops actually expand as it goes. A love note to summer. 4
