Dirty blonde with some haze + an off white ring that legs. 4
Papaya, ripe apricot + a touch of dank. 3.75
Thread of caramel then juicy roasted pineapple, mango, grass + lemongrass. 4
Almost medium, some chew, touch of oil. 4
Plenty of fruit hanging off slightly bigger malts than I was expecting - that says more about IPA trends than any fault in this beer. Peach over any citrus and hits the mellow end of tropical; the sweet side of pineapple over the bright + acidic, for example. At 5.7%, I kinda wanna think about it as an APA, in which case it’s a home run; for an IPA, it’s all just a bit muted, especially knowing just how over-the-hop-top 8D can be.
