Pale amber with pitted ecru head. Floaties in the second half. 3.75
Lemon peel + oily herb over a touch of caramel. 3.75
Thread of toffee then grapefruit pith, melon rind, menthol, and anise. Candied orange peel as it opens. 3.75
Long ringing evergreen linger.
Almost medium, round, oily. 3.75

Apr 28 ‘18 expiry - 3 months in - and it shows: bits of Bit o’ Honey oxidation poking through. What’s mostly going on, though, is some sharp, almost medicinal edges from what must be a heroic amount of Lemondrop. I got poor homebrew results with it as a single hop (as have others), so 8D must’ve piled them in to get this much flavor out of them. I’ve read blackberry or licorice for Lemondrop, and now I believe it. Unfortunately.

8D’s Single Hop chase proving a point that could’ve been left alone. 3.75
