Pale clear amber with ecru head that speckles. 4
Green herd, citrus zest, and grass. 3.75
Speck of cracker, big hit of lime juice, slight mango, then some resin, slight passionfruit and orange rind. 3.75
Cutting bitterness.
Tart, light, crisp. 3.75
Lime + mango; Mosaic + Enigma.
Lime! And more lime. The first tropical fruit IPA I’ve had where you can’t taste the fruit. And why use interesting hops like Mosaic + Enigma if you’re going to bury them. Add an excessively dry, IBU-heavy end, and this becomes hard work.
I’m on record as not liking fruit IPAs as a thing, but even correcting for bias this is an out of balance disappointment. 3.75
