Bohemians are creative dreamers who defy convention. Our Bohemian Pilsner is just that, an unorthodox lager with complex biscuity malt, soft rounded bitnerness and a twist of spice from the noble Saaz and Hallertau hops. This crisp and adventurous drop is perfect for a chilled out session...bliss.

Poured from 500ml can. Lovely straw gold in colour. Slightly hazy, decent carbonation. Not a whole lot on nose, but made up for in taste and feel. Grassy, slightly floral and crisp. Nice pilsner offering from Co. Cork.

440ml Can from SuperValu, Fermanagh (£2.50):
Pale golden with a half cm, bubbly white head & plenty of fine bubbles rising to the surface. The head holds fairly well for a pilsner & the nose opens with hay, light grassy notes & touches of citrus. Some pale malts feature nearer the middle but it's more basic & bland with the taste sadly. Pale malts & skunk flavours appear early on & it's very one dimensional with some hay & a slightly off grassy taste showing soon after. The body is light medium with a cheap, skunk bitterness & quite a sharp, semi-dry finish.

look: one finger white head which quickly dissipates, beer is a clear golden colour with very little carbonation rolling up the beer.

smell: not much going on, bready biscuity malt almost entirely, some green apple, hint of orange, light vinous quality to it, not much.

taste: decent pilsner actually, lovely fresh white bread malt, lightly grassy, lightly earthy, lot of honey, just a hint of bitterness on the finish, bready malt flavours linger on the finish, yeah not bad.

feel: light to medium bodied, medium carbonation, crisp and sessionable like advertised, totally crushable, very refreshing.

overall: not a very characterful pilsner, but not a bad one either, very much a does what it says on the tin job.

Can. Light amber with an extra thick frothy head.
Light mixed malt aroma of bread and biscuit. Distant yeast and spice.
Biscuit continues into the flavour along with corn and hints of honey.
Mild carbonation. Light.
Quite refreshing.
