June 2016: 500 ml can, from REMA 1000, Tau. Cloudy golden colour, large white head. Strong sweetish aroma of bananas and banana toffee, also notes of cloves. The flavour (not as sweet as I feared) has the typical hefeweizen notes of banana and cloves, just in a blander edition. Minimal hops. But Munkholm Weiss has none of the typical n/a beer off-flavours found in Munkholm Hvete, which was discontinued a few years ago. Weiss is obviously a new and considerably better recipe.
