Picked up a half liter can from a Rema 1000 for a decent price, much cheaper than draft beers at bars and restaurants in Oslo. Just a plain old macro lager. Not awful. But not great. Barely drinkable.

Rerate, 500 ml can. ABV is now 4.5%. Golden colour, large white head. Moderate malty aroma, hints of floral hops. The flavour is fairly malty for a pilsener, with at least some hoppy bitterness in the finish. Not great in any way, but certainly drinkable. I’m upping it a point.
Original rating: Another ’draught’ beer that comes out of a can. (Sigh!) Golden colour, weak aroma, head disappears quickly. The flavour is not something you’ll remember, aftertaste has some (fairly unpleasant) bitterness. No favourite of mine.

Another kind gift from Erlend. 12oz can. 4.5% ABV.
Pours out to a sparkingly clear medium golden, forming a white head with modest retention and lacing. Carbonation is a bit mild, around 2.25 carbs or so. The nose is very light, however there is a peculiar note that I get when I scorch my wort. A faint caramel character (different than crystal malt) that doesn't really belong in a vienna lager. Cleanly fermented, no sulfur. Really, no hop nose either. Fairly non descript. The mouthfeel is nice, light bodied, again, mildly carbonated for the style. Thankfully it tastes better than the nose, with little no no caramel character. No hop flavor, but a pleasantly balanced bitterness. Goes down ok, but the caramel nose is off putting and I probably wouldn't want to have more than 2 of these.
