February 2007: 500 ml can, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Pale golden colour, decent head. Moderate sweetish and sugary aroma, notes of grass and boiled vegetables, not very attracive. Moderate sweetish flavour, minimal hops. Another boring beer from Ringnes.

A - One finger of white head with poor retention, but thick lace. The body is gold and clear.
S - Pils malt aroma with light honey. Some sulphur and a light, floral hop aroma.
T - Light malt, low spicy/ floral hop flavor. Moderate bitterness balances in the finish.
M - Moderately high carbonation, medium light body, and a dry finish.
D - Not too bad overall, but the whole is somehow less than the sum of the parts here. The finish is kind of soapy, and while the sulphur in the aroma is low and theoretically acceptable for the style, it still detracts from the beer.

Pours a golden color with a large two finger bright white head. There is poor retention, and no lacing.
The aroma is reminiscient of an American Macro. The there is some fruitiness there, mostly apples, and slightly sweet.
The taste is also reminiscient of an American macro. There is some bready malt notes with a cereal feel to it. There is a growing bitterness in the beer that I really enjoyed.
Mouthfeel is thin and slightly watery. The carbonation is adequate.
Drinkability is moderate. Low alcohol and simple flavors make it easy to consume. However, the beer is boring which is discouraging.
