Dark brown with an amber tinge when held to the light. Clear filtered, with a little carbonation of small, slow rising bubbles.
Topped with 4 fingers of creamy, beige head.
Smells of dark toasted malts, biscuit, toasted scone, and a very faint smokiness.
The taste follows the nose, and finishes with a hint of rust.
Light body, with little carbonation.
Got this sent from Bangkok, drinking in Chiang Mai, Sept 15th, 2017. Reminds me of the Aussie favourite brews, and I can see why it got high ratings there. Enjoyable, loving to explore this under done style.

350ml can poured into a pint glass.
It pours mahogany brown with some reddish shade. The light tan head forms up with a finger thick and stays with rather short retention before collapsing to a lasting bubble film on the surface and leaving some lacing patch and spot.
In a nose, roasted malt, caramel, toasted bread, and dark biscuit, all of these aromas are derived from malt while hop with just some subtle earthiness.
Roasted and caramel malt is still led through the palate sensation together with toasted bread and biscuit. Hop adds subtle crisp of earthiness and grassiness as well as slight bitterness (some from roasted profile of course).
Thin to watery body with lively crisp carbonation, the mouthfeel is flat but is quite prickly and refreshing owing to its effervescence. Finish is pretty clean.
Surprisingly very easy and quite enjoyable drink, the overall character is well-rounded by roasted and toasted together with caramelized malt goodness.
