Black Ban Bitter – 5%
Fuggles and East Kent Goldings
Pours a typical Bell’s clear gold with a nice, white head with good retention and lacing. Smell is a subtle mix of sweet toasty malt and bittering hops. Not much floral dry hop on the nose. Again, an Englishy beer. Thick, flavourful and mouth-coating with an end note of bittering hops. It’s good, but, to tell you the truth, it’s awfully similar to all their other beers minus the stout.

Sweetish malts (touch of honey sweetness), semi bitter, with a touch of tangy citrus at the end, OK. A bit boring if anything, but i don't think its meant to be anything extravagant, easy to sit down and have a couple of them, without it troubling your tastebuds, not too bad.
