***My usual calibration device just entered foreign territory. I selected the numbers based on what I thought a good gingerale should taste like.***
According to the supplied tasting notes, "Amarillo hops and real ginger used."
It pours a clear, light yellow with lots of bubbles and served with a lemon slice. The taste is smooth and creamy with a definite ginger character. Not much head to speak of other than the initial fizzies. Almost has the mouthfeel of crème soda and is drinkable as a thirst quencher. I gotta tell you, it's not necessary the best ginger ale I've ever tasted, but I'm not familiar with alcoholic ginger ales! Given that it's real, fermented ginger ale I'm really excited! I'll be sure to walk by the bar every summer afternoon and stop by for an ginger ale.
