First of all this is 4.6% and stated by the brewery to be a cross between a german and czech pilsner not a Dortmunder/Export lager and is named after the cane toad problem up north as a percentage of the price goes towards the stop the toad foundation and pours a hazy pale straw hue which leaves a three finger foamy head and lacing everywhere, the smell is really floral with some other aromas of lemon, lavender and biscuty malts, the mouthfeel is just over lightbodied yet fullfilling just how i like my lagers and has tastes pretty similar to smell with hints of floral grassy hops,a slight touch of mandarin, biscuty malts,a touch of paw paw and finished with a spicy grassy hop dryness and overall its a nice session beer that does what it should and takes me back to my lazy days at Broome and honestly think they would be better bottling this instead of another one of their bottled ranges cheers.
