Pours a marvelous blonde, much like our very own oppressive leader. The smell is sweet, and the style is the most classic of Americans - this time, unlike our leader.

Taking a hardline stance against racism, misogyny, bigotry and ignorance, the empowered brewers of 5 Rabbit have been provoked by the current political climate to release a blonde ale- a beer that's mild, meek and reasonable in taste. A glimpse into what's simple and pure about life. ....outside of U.S. politics, that is.
Lemony yellow and carrying a foggy gold haze, the beer's cottony froth laces the glass at every sip and then rounding the nose with a pleasant perfume of citrus, soft spice, tropical fruit and a peppery, winey zest. With the taste of pilsner malt and complementary wheat and honey grains, the taste is a blend of sugar cookie and sourdough.
And as the ale unravels on the tongue, its sweetness blossoms into a fruit filled flora of banana, lemon, passionfruit, pear and apple. Hinging on white grape and a pleasant peach acidity, the balance comes way of white pepper, lemongrass and clove. Hints of German wheat beer peak through the pilsner dominant grain bill while the creamy upstart trails with the tantalizing bite and tartness of dry white wine.
Medium light in its body, the beer's sufficient carbonation provides a lift from malt and an amplifier for the spice and tartness. Fruit trend drier, tarter and more of a dried rind character as the grains trend husken and hay-like. Chinga Tu Pelo is pleasant, friendly and welcomed ale that, unlike politics, won't leave too much of a bitter taste in your mouth.

On tap at Pints in Elmhurst. The beer was served in a shaker. It is a clear light gold with a skim of bone white head.
Nose is of light grains and mild citrus.
The taste is slightly more assertive thanks to some really active carbonation that accents the metallic bitterness and bready malts. There are also some slight fruity almost plum like notes.
The mouth as stated has ramped up carbonation coupled with a medium mouth.
It is right in the middle of the spectrum for a blonde.

Pale yellow in color. Somewhat hazy in appearance. Light, crisp and lower on flavor. Could chug a ton of this. Like the beer says; stop the hate and bullies aren't leaders.

I bought this for the pop culture reference. That was the best part. Smells and tastes exactly like Old Style. I guess it's not the same because this wasn't lagered. It doesn't taste like other blonde ales I've had. It is blonde in color.

Light golden beer with nice carbonation. Aroma is not assertive but what's there is light and bready with maybe a hint of clove. Taste is similar but pretty subdued. Not great, not horrible. Would have gotten me excited back in 1983. Fun to have one and stick it to the Donald.

From the growler via Jungle Jim's in a snifter. This ale pours a very pale yellow color with a modest head of white
foam that subsides to a thick ring, thin pool, and light lacing. Nose of light cracker and light herbal hop notes with
little else. Flavors lightly exceed the nose with light cracker and bitter hop notes on all sides with grain notes flowing
into the rear of the taste mellowed with a touch of yeast and white pepper notes. Decent mouth feel, lightly
carbonated and lightly refreshing with a bitter finish. Overall nothing to exciting, just like both candidates running for election.
Perhaps they could brew a blonde milk stout and call it "your thighness"....in Spanish of course in honor of the other
one who is as awful as the bad hair piece....it should have a bitter finish as well.
Cheers
