5 Rabbit's Gringolandia Ironica IPA is the very picture of a modern IPA: rich gold in color, dry and cleanly bitter on the palate, bursting with citrus and luscious tropical aromas from our mix of citra, azacca and amarillo dry-hops. It's light on its feet, with our signature bright, fun character. Say it the way we do in Latin America: "EE-pah!

Fits the style of an American IPA. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. there is a strong bitterness. Tastes of citrus hops, slight floral hops, slight citrus, slight sweet malt, and a hint of grass. Overall, good appearance, body, but strong bitterness.

12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours fairly hazy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 1-finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel/nutty, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. A bit muddy. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, light pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel/nutty, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, spicy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, mango, melon, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, toasted biscuit, light honey/caramel/nutty, an d herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/bready/sticky, and lightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.66%. Overall this is a very nice IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Very juicy and fairly dank/earthy hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. A very enjoyable offering, and well made Midwest style IPA. Great hop profile as expected of citra, azacca and amarillo.

yellowish in color with a medium head and mildly hoppy. An okay beer as i was craving an IPA. so it curbed my craving for the IPA. This beer is fairly easy to drink with a sinister abv. with an appropriate titled beer name

This might make for an evil session brew, what with the 6.66% alcohol and it is devilishly easy drinking.
It pours bright yellow with tons of head and constant bubbles. The aroma is hoppy but subdued. The taste is bitter, but not overly so and malts are way down in the profile. The aftertaste is clean and refreshing. It is not unlike many other AIPAs that are hop dominated but it is on the milder side of those.
Recommended for an easy drinking, appropriately sessionable brew or the opener to a session.
