750 bottle into a chalice. Had 12/25/16. Didn't plan it, but seems apropos.

Pours a garnet/amber, cloudy, with a small, ring of foam head, and some loose lacing. The smell is malt, cherries, dates, some yeast, figs, white grapes, some pineapple, a sugary aroma overall. The taste also leads with the malt, then dates, plums, cherries, some figs and grapes. A light bitterness up front, sweet- with a hint of cinnamon, on the finish. Smooth, a good, but certainly lighter body for the style, well carbonated.

Very good, an interesting take on the style, but seems like it could have been better when you look at everything that went into it. Still, it's worth a purchase, if it comes around again.
