Tated at the brewery in Kunda Park, Queensland Australia.
Beer is a hazy light gold, has a nice creamy head, clean tasting with the expected banana and clove notes-the only aspect that detracted for me was a the finish on the palate which was not quite in keeping with the rest of the style. This may be an individual thing only.
However I could quite easily have another few-it would be good in a session although the reasonably high alcohol (above 5% abv) would need to be watched.
All in all a nice hefweisen all the better for its unexpeceted origin in the beer wasteland of queensland.

Tasted this at the brewery, a small but well organised operation in the light industrial hinterland of Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Atypically, I'm not going to analyse this beer's attributes. Needless to say, it's true to style.... and my wife loved it, which means it's gooood.
My words to brewer ALEBOY at the time were that this beer can stand proudly with the style benchmarks... a fact that I verified by consuming Maisel & Erdinger weizen a couple of days later...just to be sure, you see :-P
A great beer, and well worth the visit to the brewery.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
