Dark brown with a reddish tinge when held to the light. Thick foamy tan brown head dissipates to a finger, leaving some lacing.
Smells of malt, molasis, dark malt, porter, rubber, farmyard.
First comes in sour, burnt malt, farmyard, with rubber burnt bitter aftertaste. The sourness reminds me of Guiness at first. Grows more burnt rubber and bitter as it warms. Worse as it warms.
Medium body, low carbonation.
I got it for 8 yuan at a small shop in Kunming, China. Nice for the price. Has some great qualities, and some not so great ones too. Would go well with starchy breakfast foods, and what a guiness would.
