Pours a semi clear amber color. White head. Minimal lacing.
Nose is interesting. I really don't know how to describe it. Some spice. A bit of like a baked bread aroma. Quite pleasing.
Taste is earthy, floral, spice.
Moderate feel.
Overall a unique beer style

At the brewery into a willi becher, pours a clear gleaming amber gold, next to no head, next to no lacing. Nose has a hint of slightly sweet juniper, heavy bread, promise of a little earthy spice, but faint. Starts with a lot of bready malt, very substantial body, then gets a little spicy/sweet in a very modest way, half way through. Carb is low, body is substantial, but still all melds together nicely. Love juniper and rye, but never had this style before so not sure what to compare it with. As a way of using those two ingredients, it isn't bad, but they don't sing. Still...I'm glad I gave it a shot!

Amber hued. Smells off, burnt hair? The hop and malt is well balanced and it tastes like a decent amber. But nothing otherworldly here
