Pours clear gold/amber with a thick white cap that falls away quickly leaving only spotty lacing. Aroma is mild orange. Flavor is bursting with orange and a nice caramel malt base. Feel is medium bodied, lightly carbonated. Overall, a fine summer beer, from a legitimate local brewery.

It is overwhelmingly the BITTER notes of the orange that make their way into this cream ale. It's Castle Danger's normal cream ale (a marvelous beverage) but with a ton of bitterness added. It does not taste like your typical orange cream treat whatsoever. Maybe they will have better luck next time, but whatever happened to the oranges in the brewing process only yielded the bitter notes that oranges have to offer. The end result is a very bitter cream ale, not very pleasant!
I made sure to check the bottom of the can to see that it was indeed fresh (only a month old) and had been refrigerated at the shop.
The first bad beer I've ever had from CD.

They say this is their creme ale with orange added, but it tastes a tad bit hoppier than usual. Pours a copper colour, almost no nose, tastes like an orange soda with hops. Only served at the State Fair...on tap at a restaurant in Rochester (they must be trying to burn down their supply)
