Agate Bay Nut Brown is a bold ale featuring a ruby brown body and persistent mocha head. The nose reveals notes of caramel, molasses, roasted peanuts and hazelnut. The medium body carries a light roastiness and nutty sweetness. A touch of mild bitterness balances it all out for a clean, crisp finish.

12oz can. Poured out a clear, dark brown color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left sudsy lacing. It smelled of roasted malt, toffee and chocolate. Nice roasted malt taste with toasted caramel, toffee and chocolate.

Pours a dark amber colour, no head. Nose is chocolate, taste is a bitter malt that fades into chocolate - some nuttiness. Finishes bitter. Overall good.

L-Dark Brown

S-Sweet malt aroma..some roasty notes...

T-Great taste to this....biscuits and toffee...roasted malts...touch of nuts...touch of dark fruits...

F-Medium bodied...finishes dry

O-This is a dandy...highly drinkable and loaded with flavor..maybe a bit too much roasted maltiness..

Classic easy drinking brown ale. I want 6-packs of this so I can stock up for winter. Very nut forward taste, and mostly clean, but with a slight metallic tinge.
