Poured a clear golden amber colour with a thin white foamy head that diminished quickly.Taste was initally tingly on the tongue but this softened a bit to a slight bitterness. Light body. Feels crips, tingly and clean in the mouth. Very short crisp, clean, slightly bitter finish. Refreshing.

A - Pale and clear, basically no head or lacing.

S - Some faint grassiness and dry malt.

T - No trace of any hop profile, some flat malt and sweet apple.

M - Very light body, dry finish.

O - Absolutely nothing to say about this beer, except that it is pretty much featureless. Very disappointing, Im glad I only got a taster.

Simple pale golden in colour with moderate carbonation, a soapy but tight white head with medium lacing.

Faintly perfumed aroma and hints of simple malts, no hop aroma whatsoever

Basic flavours one would expect, light, light sweetness, fairly dry and bland little to no hop aroma.

Pretty uninspiring all round.

This is Sail & Anchors first step into the bottled world and believe me as soon as i saw the bottle and its presentation you could tell that this brew is brewed for the macro world with a push by one of their bigger partners to make this brew and as much as i wanted to give it a go and say it succeeds it clearly doesnt, anyways it pours a see thru amber colour with decent carbonation that leaves a fast vanishing one finger head with no lacing whatsoever, the aroma is horrible with big hints of stale malts and not much else,it has a light bodied mouthfeel with a rather bland taste of malts and grains and not much else,it really is a shame that a brewery such as this can put its name to a horrible lifeless brew as this,if only they put some of their more well known brews into bottles.
