Cloudy tan to gold in colour witha non persistent sudssy head.Lots of bubbles cling to the side of the glass which looks unusual.
The smell is biscuity sweet but very weak and watery.
The main flavours are offish sweet malt but overtoned witha sour fruit flavour.A bit like over ripe mango .
It is not UNpleasant but is not particularly nice.
The carbonation seems to all have stuck to the side of the glass because there was little left in the mouthfeel to help gee up the watery bitterness
To the the best of my memory this is the worst "micro brewery' beer I have had.
Geelong Breweryy seems to have adopted the tenet of much larger brewing concerns and that is that flavour comes second

wow these guys get more and more like a micro CUB. they try, they fail. and whats more, they have four beers that are all pretty hard to distinguish from the other. the brewery say they consult german brewers on the making of their beers. id hate to try what their germans are brewing themselves!
no different to the bitter in any way, except a little weaker in alcohol. tasted just as bad. some people say they have tried better home brew when rating a beer, and in this case its true all the way.
as ive said before, the more ive tried their beers, the less i can figure out how geelong came up with schonbrauhaus. maybe thats where the germans come into it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
