piss is a beer brewed by geelong brewery as the house beer for the great britain hotel in richmond, victoria. gotta love this beer for two reasons. one it keeps carlton products off the tap, and two this is close to the best name ever for a beer.
the beer itself isnt terribly exciting, althought strangely its better than the standard lagers geelong brew for themselves. looks like any other lager, with good bubble action. citric nose with some hop notes, and a mildly zesty flavor with some malt presence. nothing too spectacular. inoffensive, just not quite tasty enuff. does have a nice hoppy finish that is just right in the bitterness stakes. not a beer youd go out of your way for, but easy to knock down nonetheless.
pretty cheap off the tap, its not as good as the ring ins they have at this establishment, but geez this is a whole lot more agreeable than a pot of carlton or tooheys. and as i said earlier, you just gotta love the name. doesnt get much more australian than that.
