Brewer's Notes: "A German style of beer, which was nearly extinct until recently. A refreshing half-wheat, half-pilsner malt brew with notes of coriander, lemon, and sea salt that give a hint of a mischievous side. Very clean, and yet spicy.
Available: July-September
Availability: Draft and Cans: Namesake: Named after Casper, the Friendly Ghost (Gose)
ABV: 5.0%
IBUs: 13"
Poured from 12oz can into glass. Canned on date is '07/20/17'.
Some white head upon pouring but dissipates to thin ring, no lacing. Copper, hazy body.
Sour lime aroma.
Slightly sour taste with very slight salt aspect.
Thin to moderate mouth feel.
To a gose style but average with taste and salt and spice.

Served in pint glass on tap. Appearance is the best thing about this beer, hazy orange with thin rim of head. The most dominant flavor is an astringent flavor that is not from hops, so I am guessing coriander. I don't get much wheat or tartness. Definitely low hop profile as you would expect in the style. Overall a bit disappointing
