A: This beer pours a nice chocolate brown with lighter chestnut edges. Two finger of creamy khaki colored head that recedes quickly sits on top. Sheets of creamy lacing are left on the glass.
S: Nose is of java, chocolate, and toffee.
T: Taste is very thin bodied chocolate up front, followed by some roasted and toasted malts and a hint of caramel and toffee. Finish is all java and really almost feels like a cup of coffee.
M: Light body, medium carbonation, starts crisp but thickens and becomes creamier toward the finish.
D: Taste, goes down easily, rather light bodied but highly sessionable.

Tap@Lost Coast, May 04. Woah, full on coffee beans, really bitter, tastes more like coffee than it down the brown ale. If you like coffee, drink this beer, i'm sure that theres enough alcohol and caffeine in this one to give a double high. Nice, medium bodied coffee bitterness.
