10 ounce serving from the Liars Club in San Diego for $3.25
Pour was a medium brown with a thick white head, about an inch
Smell was very sweet and filled with malts
Taste had a nice nutty taste to go along with vanilla, caramel, and coffee hints, very sweet beer for an Octoberfest style
Could drink a good amount of this, definitely could have drank more of this than I did

On tap at the Lost Coast Brewery and Cafe. Poured a red-brown color with very little head. Nose is nuts and malts. Seems to be fairly high in alcohol content, or at least the alcohol is obvious. Very smooth mouthfeel, and the flavors linger on the palate. Good to the last drop with a great finish. One of the better Octoberfest beers.

Found this beer on tap in Redding California at Carnegie's.
Pours a light brown color, with very little carbonation that dies quickly to almost nothing.
Smells are quite nutty, with a bit of alcohol.
Taste is full bodied, nutty, oak like, and a bit of that alcohol on the finish. To me, this tastes a bit more ramped up than most Oktoberfest beers, as far as the alcohol content is concerned. But it still manages to be quite smooth.
Mouthfeel follows the tastes quite well, as the flavors tend to linger nicely.
This one loses a notch on the drinkability scale, but still a well done fall brew.
