On tap at The Surly Goat in West Hollywood, CA.
Pours a clear dark brown with a tan head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt and some slight fruity aromas. Taste is also of malt and fruity flavors. There is a mild bitterness on the palate after each sip. This beer has a pretty good level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer but there is no way this can be considered a normal porter.
