Boner beer! Review as I drink.
app- there is a LOT of sediment in the glass. Big chunks of it and my pour left a lot of the wheat on the bottom. I tried. Cloudy orange/tan color, nice orange-y off-white head that dissipates to a translucent cap. No lacing to speak of. There are some kind of black specks floating around in here. They may be spice but they could be something bad.
sml- Trademark banana, orange, clove expected from a belgian white. Some kind of spice, although I don't know what it is. Banana is super heavy here.
tst- I don't get any orange or citrus, really. I get the banana. Maybe some kind of coriander spice, and a bitter clove. Hop says "hello" for a second on the back end. Nice malty sweetness.
mf- thick, of course. All the sediment makes this feel like a meal in a glass.
I have to take points off for the black specks. I don't know what they are, and the bottle doesn't warn you of them. After closer inspection of a small speck, it disintegrated between my fingers and rubbed into my print, telling me it is wheat. Still, I've never experienced this before and the dark color can be off-putting. However, this minor complaint only just keeps it from an outstanding rating. As a belgian white it's maybe not what it could be, but as a wheat beer it is loaded with balanced flavor. I'm happy with it.

12 oz bottle pours a hazed, dark gold color with a surprisingly small white head. Not much retention or lacing, definitely a below average looking wit.
Nose is not bad, lots of wheat and some coriander. Little bit of bubblegum and clove from the yeast.
Taste is ok, the wheat is pretty bold and the spices play nicely...seems like some orange peel comes out a bit ahead of any coriander. Its lacks finesse and smoothness that the better witbiers are able to display, but this is not all that bad. It hovers around or slightly below the average line.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle, into a standard pint.
A: Cloudy, golden hue, with lots o' carbonation. Pours a slight, bubbly, white head which quickly disintegrates completely. No lacing.
S: Sourdough bread, pungent rye is prominent. A bit of an orange citrus.
T: Pungent grainy flavor. The orange spice-bread thing is prominent, too.
M: Slightly sweet with a pungent finish.
D: Soft, easy drinking brew.
Atmosphere is okay. Note really much of anything to look at, but nose is grainy and pungent with a sweet note. Flavor is grainy and rye-y. Overall, this is a decent quaffl.
