Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance - The brew is served a clear golden color with a one finger head of puffy white foam. The head fades slowly over time to leave a moderate level of streaky lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The smell begins with a hoppy smell of citrus and pine mixed with some cracker malt and a touch of caramel. Along with these smells comes some light fruit smells of tangerine and peach as well as a touch of a herbal and grassy smell.
Taste - The taste begins with a somewhat crisp malt flavor that has some lighter tangerine flavors. From the start there is a rather decent showing of a grapefruit hop as well as a little bit of pine. As the taste advances the grapefruit fades a little bit all while the pine gets stronger and is joined by some herbal hop flavors. Toward the end a tiny bit of grass join the rest and with a loss of some of the fruit that was upfront, one is left with a more crisp and citrus and pinny hop taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is rather average. For the mix of hop and crisper malt the feel is rather nice and makes for a easy drinker.
Overall - A rather decently crisp and hopped brew overall. Nothing super exceptional, but nice none the less.

Pours a deep, golden yellow with hints of copper. Decent amount of head and head retention. Carbonation looks average. Mix of pine and citrus on the nose with a malty sweetness in the background. Taste follows the nose pretty well, with the addition of some herbal soapiness and light fruits. Definitely hop-forward, the malts only come through very quickly towards the swallow and give way to pine and grapefruit rind on the finish which lingers. The mouthfeel is smooth and crisp, I feel like the water used is of high quality with perhaps some mineral content. Overall this is a decent AIPA, but not one of my favorites, a bit too soapy for me.
