This prime pilsner is formulated to quench thirst! Easy drinking all-malt lager is true to its Pilsner-style roots. Slightly citrusy aroma gives way to a smooth malty taste profile with a crisp finish.

Very pale gold color, with a light head. Very faint hop aroma with a little grainy malt. Very bland taste as well, bitterness so low it's more sweety and grainy than pils-like. Thin bodied. Pretty disappointing beer. A number of decent pils have been brewed by assorted Texas breweries in recent years, but this ain't one of them. Not sure if I can even finish this six pack.

Thanks to Ozzylizard for this one from hits during NBS BIF #14. 12oz can (date unreadable) poured into 14oz teku. poured a very cloudy medium yellow color with over two inches of white head that had long lasting retention and light lacing.
The aroma was sweet malts and very soft floral hops.
Very similar on the tongue, very sweet for the style, with relatively low hop flavors.
The body was a bit full for the style, smooth, and had a semi-sweet finish.
Drinkability was good, an easy beer to drain.
Overall, a solid "beery beer', but not quite to style. worth a shot if you see it.

12 oz. can poured into pilsener glass
(6/14/19 canning date printed on bottom of can)
L: macro-brew delight — barely pale yellow, almost appears clear white (water) as it pours out of the can, topped by a huge fluffy ultra-white head of foam over 2-inches tall; crazy sticking off the head and almost a half-inch of skin from a tremendous amount of activity in the glass; the lacing is nuts, too; fun beer to look at
S: stale grain, yeast, grain, sweet bread; sour apricot or sweet kumquat ... yeast ... has that almost house paint smell many AALs get, but it's not unpleasant or offputting and as the beer warms it turns more into apricot/peach
T: corn, bread malt, rice, the remembrance of a grassy/cilantro/green hop bite
F: again, classic macro-brew style with so much carbonation it explodes in your mouth and gives the body a nice depth; perfect if you love carbonation — likely not your thing if you don't
O: impossible to score accurately, for it's touted as a German pilsener, but it looks, smells, tastes and feels like a really good American adjunct lager; I dig it as it is, but I'd also like to try a much fresher version to see if those hints of hops aren't more present and accounted for; good enough that I want to try more from Twisted X

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance- The brew is served a light golden amber color with a small white head. The head fades away fast to leave a little bit of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell - The aroma of the brew is strongest of a light grain and caramel smell mixed with a little bit of herb. Along with these smells comes a hint of grass and a bit of earth.
Taste - The taste begins with a light caramel and grainy taste mixed with a light herbal hop. As the taste advances some light grassy and earthy hop greet the tongue. At the end a little bit of pine and a loss of some of the sweet leave one with a crisp but not super flavorful taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel- The body of the brew is thin and crispy with a higher carbonation level. For the style the feel is good and makes for an easy drinker.
Overall - An alright brew, but for the price point it really isn't all that much. Refreshing, but other light lagers and pils are likely a better go to.

Not a pilsner, whatever the can says. Palest beer I've ever seen, almost colorless. Head is sticky and white. Smell is faint, grainy. Taste is corn and fusel alcohol. Goes down easy enough cold, but this is more or less an AAL with maybe a German hop thrown in for fun.
