Deep brown, and slightly red around the edges. Little lasting head, but OK lace. Sweetish and roasted, and slightly hoppy, not insanely flavoured, but pretty tasty. Brown Ales are never a favourite of mine, but this one was OK, tasted like somethin between a porter and a brown ale (IMHO). A very surprisingly OK brew.
