Half litre, served in large flute.
A: Two finger head, fairly well retained, golden with a faint reddish tint, slightly hazy.
S: Bavarian noble hops,possibly Hallertau.
T: Quite fruity, mainly oranges but also slight tomato notes. On the sweet side,
with a wheaty finish.
M: Medium to thick body, moderate carbonation, went down well.
O: A nice mix of subtle flavors, refreshing.

Draught in the difficult to find brew house: the beer comes in their standard 0.3 litre tall thin, handled glass. An off-white head sat above an almost clear but dull old golden coloured body: it suited the glass and the glass suited the beer.
Fruity, floral hop sort of nose; some malt sweetness around as well.
The taste was tangy and crisp, well carbonated, so fairly lively and obviously fresh, the brew kettles being in the same room as my beer. The beer is also dry tasting with the hops imparting only a little bitterness, as the beer seemed to be a fruity, slightly sweet Helles compared to others I’ve encountered.
A pleasant start to trying the four brews on tap during my visit in Jan 2012.
