Not a Kellerbier at all. This is Pearl Snap dry hopped with different variants of hops. I think the one I had was Simcoe, and I know they have done a version of Citra.
A: Pours a clear golden yellow. A two finger pillowing white head forms with good retention and lace.
S: Fragrant/perfume like hops of passion fruits, apricot and slightly resinous pine. The hops are the entire show, but are really well integrated.
T: Again, all hops. Passion fruit with a bit of bitterness. Lightly resinous, but nothing is over barring, and just a great hop punch.
M/D: A light body that is perfectly effervescent. Crisp, clean and dry. Really easy to drink. All day with this.
I guess this is a lager, but really it has the perfume like hop punch of any IPA. It is very good, and something I will continue to drink when I see it. Not to take away from this great beer, but I prefer the classic Pearl Snap. Still really enjoyable.
