16oz canned 9-28-20, released and opened today 10-9-20.
Wet Hop IPA - Strata.
3 finger off-white head cresting over the rim of the glass. Excellent retention.
Copper-golden color IPA. Sudsy and sticky lacing.
Tropical leaning aromas (although nothing specific) on what seems to be a hefty malt base with some caramel/crystal.
Not near as potent in aroma as expected for a fresh hop Strata IPA...it's okay but nowhere near where it should be.
Melon, strawberry and a light but recognizable dankness.
Medium body with low-medium carbonation. Decent bitter punch in a lingering off-dry finish.
Good.
