Just a really well done DIPA - kind of reminds me of something Stone would brew up, kinda like the Enjoy By. Just a great local option at a great price!

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a golden amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades very fast to leave a little bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of a tropical fruit aroma of a tangerine and mango smell mixed with some aromas of a grapefruit hop as well as a little bit of pine. Along with these smells comes a bit of a bready smell as well as a touch of herb.
Taste – The taste begins with a tropical fruit sweetness mixed with a doughy taste. As the taste moves forward more and more hop comes to the tongue with the hop initially of a grapefruit nature followed by some flavors of an herbal and pine hop. Along with the hop comes more fruity flavors of a tropical nature as well as a little bit of caramel and a touch of light alcohol to leave one with a warming and fruity taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is average in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is lighter. Overall the feel is rather nice and creates a nice robust and fruity sipping IPA.
Overall – A rather nice IPA that hid the rather strong 9.5 % abv. very well. A great tasting imperial IPA.

A friend brought this over and I enjoyed it in an 8 oz can from the brewery on 11/16/19 at home. 9.3 ABV, and you would not know it. Not overly sweet or super malty or bitter. Very easy to drink. The floral and citrus notes are nicely tamed.

On-draught @ the brewery.

"Double India Pale Ale." 9.50% ABV.

Hides its ABV dangerously well without bringing in too much malty sweetness. Floral and fruity, eschewing piney, resinous, grapefruit, resinous, and citrusy hops.

Simplistic by style standards, with limited depth of flavour and pungency of hop flavour.

Devilishly drinkable for its gravity, but not a unique or special IIPA amidst the contemporary oversaturated sea of beers in the style. Like it, don't love it.

High C+ (3.23) / ABOVE AVERAGE

Draft pour, looks like a yellowish orange juice, not really hazy but and not translucent, no head, good lacing. Light citrus nose. Taste big citrus, some creaminess, above moderate bitterness. Alcohol completely hidden. Above average body and lower carbonation.

Wow. This is one fine DIPA. Had one on tap at Opal Divines Marina. Actually surprised the hell out of me. Literally reeks of sticky, hoppy goodness. A great blast of fresh hops to the nose. Tastes divine, bitter hops and perfectly sweet malt on back end. Just a really good, big, big, double IPA. One was all I needed, but sure would like to bring some home in a growler next chance I get.
