Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazed orange amber color with a small head of white foam. The head fades rather fast, laving a touch of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is rather strong of a bready and crackery flavor mixed with aromas of cotton candy and tropical fruits of tangerine, mango, and pineapple. Along with these aromas comes notes of melon and some light herbal and grapefruit hop.
Taste – The taste starts out with a nice tangerine and light tropical fruit sweetness mixed with some bready and cracker flavors. There is a bit of a herbal and grapefruit hop upfront, which is joined by some floral and earthy hop. As the taste advances the herbal hop gets a bit stronger and is joined by a touch of hay, leaving one with a nice easy natured flavor to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew was medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that was moderate. Overall, the flavor is rather easy natured with a good easy drinking nature.
Overall – A rather nice and lighter drinking hazy IPA. A decent and easy drinking lighter session brew.
