Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden color with a large head of puffy white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strong of a grainy and fruity aroma with a decent showing of tropical fruits and orange citrus. Along with these smells comes notes of notes of grapefruit and herb as well as some aromas of must and hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather strong showing of a bready malt mixed with notes of biscuit and a good showing of fruit of mango, pineapple and tangerine. Along with these flavors comes some flavors of pear and peach as well as a decent showing of herb and grapefruit. Other hop flavors of light pine and earth, as well as some must and hay develop on the back end, leaving one with a more modestly hopped but rather balanced taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is moderate to average. For the more middle of the road flavors and hoppiness, the feel is rather well done and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A rather decent IPA overall, with an easy drinking nature and taste.
