Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear golden straw color with a small head of white foam. The head fades slowly over time and leaves a light level of lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is strongest of a grainy and light bready smell mixed with notes of caramel and some light herb and hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a rather grainy and slightly sweeter (for a light lager) flavor of caramel and harvest fruit mixed with a bit of herbal hop. As the taste advances the hop gets a touch stronger, all while a bit of hay and more grain comes to the tongue, leaving one with a rather flavorful grainy taste, for a brew that only clocks in at 3.0 % abv.
Mouthfeel -The body of the brew is light to medium in thickness with a carbonation level that is moderate to high. For the style and the low abv the feel is rather nice and makes for an easy drinker.
Overall – A decent light lager. A little more malty for a 3.0 % brew, but flavorful and easy drinking.
