Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a clear pink tinted amber color with a fluffy head of white foam. The head has a great level of retention, fading over time and leaving a decent sum of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a sweet caramel and corn aroma mixed with a floral and hibiscus smell. Along with these smells comes notes of spearmint and peppermint as well as a little bit of bread and orange.
Taste – The taste begins with a bready and doughy flavor mixed with lots of caramel and sweet pear and apple. Other flavors of a hibiscus and floral nature are there as well. Notes of spearmint and more maltiness come at the end, leaving one with a sweet, lightly minty, and floral like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a carbonation level that is average. For the interesting taste blend the feel is rather nice and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – An interesting brew to say the least. One I would definitely recommend to at least try.
