Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy dark orange amber color with a small head of white foam. The fades vary fast leaving a touch of lace on the sides of the glass and on the surface of the brew.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of a herbal and grassy smell mixed with aromas of pine and a bit of orange juice and pineapple. Overall a pretty dank smelling brew.
Taste – The taste begins with a lightly citrus sweetened bready taste that has plenty of the hop that was present in the nose. Lots of herbal and pine hops are there from the start with these getting even stronger as the taste moves forward. All the while the bit of fruit sweetness that was present upfront fades a bit giving the hops front stage. By the end the pine and herbal hops are strong and are joined by a bit of earth to leave one with a “raw” dank hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is on the thicker and chewier side with a carbonation level that is average. Overall the feel is pretty good for the dank drinker and makes a slow but enjoyable drinking experience.
Overall – Lots of dankness here with some nice fresh/raw hop tastes. Overall rather enjoyable.
