Had this at a fundraising event. pours with about a finger of head. Glad I got a half glass of this, as it was pretty hard to drink. Nose is soapy, as is the taste. Other than the soap, there wasnt much in the way of taste. Very light malt presence, which is fine with a blonde, and light hop. Very light carbonation once the head dies down, to be honest, this tastes like a poorly made homebrew. I am excited to see these guys trying to start up a brewery, but think they need to dial in the recipe a bit more. Look forward to trying their other stuff, as I hope it is better.
Edit:
Had this at another fundraising event. Soap is significantly toned down. Nose is now a bit of banana, soap is all but gone.
this is now a pretty nice blonde. looks like they have dialed in the recipe a bit. there is a bit of a soapiness on the palate, but it is tolerable and quite appropriate.
