On tap, it pours dark as night with a 1 finger foamy tan head that faded slowly and left minimal spotty lacing. Smells of vanilla, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malt, chocolate milk, lactose sugar, coffee grinds, milk chocolate and sweet candy notes like caramel and brown sugar. Taste is equally smooth and tasty with a coffee sweetness that brings in the malt and chocolate goodness. A fine sipping brew.

Pint at the brewery getting the tap.
Appearance: Thin brown to black body with a light tan head.
Smell: sweet caramel and sugar with hint of toffee aroma. Lingers.
Taste: Little too sweet.
Mouth: Sticky and thin body with medium to full carbonation.
Overall: Good brew but wouldn't have more than one, the sweetness I'd a bit overwhelming. Salud!

mine looked ok but my buddy got the same thing right after me and they looked completely different. Maybe end of keg but looks like someone else had that problem too. It kind of tasted like an Arizona pina colada

Appearance: Arrives fudge colored capped by an impressive head of tan foam; plenty of lacing hangs around
Smell: Dark fruit and caramel tones with a touch of toasted coconut
Taste: Berries and dark fruit, up front, with tart tones developing; caramel and toasted coconut builds, after the swallow, with the tartness lingering in the finish; some vanilla in the aftertaste
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Not sure whether the tartness was intended here as this was toward the end of the keg and perhaps something was happening with the lactose
