a unique beer right here, a white chocolate coffee cream ale, quite interesting, and a new concept to me, my first beer from these guys! the color isnt totally blonde but more of a brassy look. the coffee leads the aroma but its too sweet to me to be all coffee, more of a normal milk chocolate than a white chocolate to me, although maybe a little buttery, lots of vanilla, but cocoa too for sure, nice with the coffee but more desserty than refreshing, not one of those dry crisp cold brewed coffee blonde types, this is heavier and sweeter. the flavor is solid too, the coffee and cocoa are in the front but there is a nice grain layer too, not insanely well integrated, the flavors are strong enough to seem a little forced, but they are all rather agreeable, there is just a limit to how much of this i really care to drink. carbonation is moderate and the body is medium, sweet though so its extended long, and it sits a little heavy. i can see the appeal here, but i think some of the desserty elements could be scaled back a little bit. solid overall introduction to this brewery.
