The look is hazy amber with a creamy off white head. Excellent retention and lacing.
The aroma orange, grapefruit, pine, caramel, brown bread, rye spice, and a bit of mango.
The taste is heavy on the orange peel and red grapefruit, faint hints of mango, but lots of pine, too, especially on the back end. The malt is big, bready, with some chewy caramel, slightly buttery toward the finish, some rye spice; with some lingering bitter pine sap.
The feel is big and smooth thanks to the oats and wheat. Fairly creamy, moderately carbonated, thick and bready with a resinous finish.
