Served in a snifter glass from a cask here at Croxley ale house in Farmingdale, NY.
Appearance: Think super dark brown almost black body with a light tan head rising quarter of an inch off the body.
Smell: Heavy pancakes with dose of cinnamon. Potent smell which you can smell from far away.
Taste: Sweet sticky maple syrup with cinnamon with hints. It is definitely heavy with a deep brown sugar note.
Mouth: Sticky icky. Definitely best feature of the beer. Medium carbonation with a full body.
Overall: Good pickup. Little too sweet but definitely worth the grab. Like dessert in a glass. Salud!
