Clearly tasted bitterness, refreshing taste and long lasting foam are main advantages of Stawski Malt. This is a beer of high quality brewed in a traditional way. Briliant ingridients and crystal clear, oligocene water and long time of fermentation and maturing give the beer real refreshing taste.

"After searching for over 50 years for a malt liquor worthy of my family name, I am proud to present the finest imported malt liquor available. From my family to yours, enjoy."

Quoted verbatim from the back label...lol. So, this has to be the finest malt liquor of all time then... let's try it.

Into a stange glass, this pours a deep gold with sharp clarity. The foam swarms to the top like angry bees, forming uneven crags and peaks at first, settling to a soapy skim after a little while. Rings of lace form inside the glass, admittedly i've never seen malt liquor do that. Will wonders ever cease?

The nose is fairly nondescript, a bit grainy and swilly, sulfuric with a bare inkling of something remotely resembling hops. Sweet and minerally.

Fizzy, astringent feel, not harsh but a bit too much like club soda. Wet manila folders (paper, cardboard), envelope glue, apple cores. Some bitterness on a bigger swig, so there must be some hops in there somewhere. Doesn't feel like 7.6% surely, but the label says so. Not good, not bad, somewhere in between.
