Picked this up at my favorite beer store in Belgium, Dranken Geers. Slightly hazy orange-amber pour with two finger head with decent retention and great lacing. Unique floral, somewhat perfumey, hoppy nose with hints of tea, butterscotch, and biscuits. While the nose leans more towards an IPA, the taste is more malt dominant and closer to an ESB. Hints of caramel, butterscotch, toffee, and biscuits, complemented by some really nice flowery hop notes. The mouthfeel is smooth and creamy with nice subtle bitter finish. Really nice interpretation of the style.

330ml bottle. ½ Pint glass. (Following Valentin´s –from Freiburg- suggestion).Enjoyed on jul´12. Orangish amber color. Foggy. Off-white froth & close crown. Fairly good retention leaves rings on sides. Resins & pine to the nose with underlying citric –orange & tangerine- & moderate maltiness. Earthy, rough & resiny flavors provide sharp bitterness at first sip. Medium body. Soft carbonation. Bitter river flows trough malty backbone. Orange in the middle & lemon touch. No astringency. Clean & long bitter finish. Resiny aftertaste. Refreshing & very easy drinkable beer!!

Light orange color, quite hazy, some floatings. Good, creamy and abundant head.
In the smell a strong hoppiness, america, fresh and pleasant, citrussy, with a piney touch. In background the base malting, balanced.
Quite bitter in the mouth, malty, with a hint of caramel, and again the hop. Again well balanced, with a light body.
Citrus aftertaste, some balsamic touch, and a balancing maltiness.
Easy to drink.
