330ml bottle, 50IBUs - poured into Tulip. Named after a Gareth Tarrant, who caught a bloke that assaulted the brewer, and seems to have sorted him out.
L - golden, clear, pours a frizzy, 1cm thick head with decent retention
S - a stale rotting grass smell mixed with hint of lemon, passionfruit and malt
T - grassy malts, with strong lime taste throughout. Rounded off with sweet wine white, vinous hops and lemony acidic tinge at finish. Not very bitter for an IPA
F - soapy texture, moderate carbonation, light bodied, ABV feels much lower but with a warming sensation in the finish
O - odd mix between a IPA and a golden ale (more golden ale), bit too acidic and lime driven for me.
